What a eclectic conglomeration of stories. Each one totally different than the last. It was very hard to not get emotionally involved in each story due to the fact that I think everyone can find a little of themselves in each one. I really can't do a well written review of this book because of how different each story is and not all of them happy (most of them not). I did feel I needed to give this 3 stars instead of anything higher just due to the fact that there were a couple of stories I found boring and with there only being like 7 stories in the collection, it made a difference.If you don't have issues with psychological drama or a little bit of depressing real life scenarios, then I would recommend this read.

Reading Places I never planned you`ll find independent tales with independent characters.
My favorite tale is the first one Forget me not.
All the tales are full of emotions, strong emotions and you can connect with the characters feelings.
I recommend you this book.
The first short story was so compelling I had hoped it would continue as a full-length novel. The next two were less interesting. The last one had it's moments, but was a bit disjointed for a short story, though the characters were interesting, but less well crafted. Entertaining read. Worth the price.
Let me begin by admitting that I'm not typically a fan of short stories. That said, this collection was "just okay." They didn't bore me but they also didn't really impress me, either. I liked the author's style but I'd be more interested in reading a novel by her.
I liked this book of stories more than I expected to, no offense to the author. I was actually expecting to get a bunch of 'thrown together without much thought' stories, and received just the opposite. They all had very well written characters, with real stories and feelings that I could actually envision happening, not some make believe drivel... Well except the one with cat, that one could have been left out.
A great collection of stories - probably they should have been more clearly identified as such since I noticed several reviewers were surprised and confused by this.
Introspection is always fun, especially if it's someone else's and you don't have to analyze yourself. These stories had this as a general theme but each story stood on its own. Good grammar and sentence construction. Good storylines. I liked them.
I love how Aimee's writing pulls you in for each story and then leaves you wanting more at the end of each stories conclusion. Great writing, gripping and I would even hazard to say, an emotional roller coaster when reading this collection in one sitting. I look forward to more from her, because I definitely wanted more from each story once I was done with the book. Her character development is fantastic and she definitely has a future as an author.
3.5 stars for this collection of stories about interpersonal relationships. I really liked the title story, which was a kind of "Rachel's Getting Married" exploration of family dynamics and past traumas. It took a trajectory that I didn't expect, managed to be both fun and serious, and seemed realistic.
The other stories were not as polished, and I disliked how they ended.
